Here we are, my loves, in the final month of 2025, approaching our final full moon of the year.

How are you feeling?

For several weeks, my resounding answer has been tired.

Since I’ve been talking about water a lot lately, it’s appropriate to acknowledge the ebbs and flows of energy that are natural and essential to our lives, and to the universe.

We exist as waves. Waves are fractals.

In yet another sankofa moment this year, I ended up back on an old website I discovered in 2009 when I was working on a screenplay about a girl who had special math magic, and I wanted to use fractals as a central symbol in the script.

The website, fractalfoundation.org, describes fractals as never ending patterns that are the same at every scale, and “geometrically, they exist in between our familiar dimensions.”

Fractals are inter-dimensional.

I ended up back on this website like finding an old note in the pocket of a coat I haven’t worn in 16 years. I was drawn back to it because my spirit guides recently channeled the message:

“She is a direct fractal of God.”

-Channeled Message

In the past, I was told that God was a man that wanted me to live in fear and submission. I was told that I should be afraid of this all-powerful man—afraid of his anger, his judgement, and his punishment. I was told that I should beg him for mercy, and be thankful if he should grant me another chance to please him. I was told that I am nothing and he is everything. I was told that if I did not obey this man, then he would get very very angry and make me suffer forever. The “god” that was constructed for me, has an uncanny resemblance to abusive fathers, abusive husbands, pimps, and slave masters.

But that never felt true to me.

In 2009 I conceived of a screenplay about a girl who was learning more about her unique gifts and how to use them as part of her everyday life. I wanted her character arc to be a journey of growing into her extrasensory abilities with confidence and joyful self-possession. And fractals felt like the perfect motif to weave through her story.

Today I see just how inspired that story truly was.

Flavor of the Week: Cohesive Distinction

The astrological gem this week is a super full moon in the zodiac sign of Gemini. While the moon is in Gemini, the Sun is on the opposite side of the sky in Sagittarius.

This duo acts like a fractal. Gemini energy helps us see the small, distinct details and textures of our fractal existence. Sagittarius energy helps us zoom out to a broader scale to see the cohesive pattern.

A few weeks ago, I had a vision of this. I was shown an individual vibrating circle. Then I was shown a sea of these circles all distinct and vibrating individually while all touching and forming a cohesive fabric. I understood that within this configuration, the vibration of one circle could affect the vibrations of circles around it. The vibration of one circle could even be transmitted like a wave across the entire fabric. And so, the individual vibration of one small circle mattered to the whole fabric of circles.

So my encouragement and affirmation for us under the light of this Gemini super full moon is to reflect on our existence as individual vibrating circles that are networked and connected to the web of others.

Reflection For this Gemini Full Moon:

In your journal, reflect on the items, the places, and the people you come in contact with most often, and ask:

  • How do they impact my vibration?

  • How do I impact theirs?

  • How can I be a good vibratory neighbor, especially in my communication?

Now, rather than an abusive patriarch, my metaphor for God is the fabric itself, is the surface tension of waves, is that which coheres the all of everything…

As always, I offer this not to instruct, but to inspire your own pondering and exploration.
